Description
This repository contains .csv files detailing the results generated by solution of the design space identification problems presented in Sachio, Ward, Pini & Papathanasiou (2024): “Operability-economics trade-offs in adsorption-based CO2 capture processes”. Specifically, the repository contains the data used to generate Figure 4 in the manuscript and the filename for each .csv file specifies each of the four design problems presented there. For example, “data_Fig4_b_Re_89.csv” refers to data points used to construct the design space with recovery constraint of at least 89% (Figure 4b). In each file, the columns are as follows: data point, label [point generated from the mechanistic model or from the Artificial Neural Network], p_H (bar) [high pressure], p_I (bar) [intermediate pressure], v_F (m/s) [feed velocity], Pu (%) [purity], Re (%) [recovery], Pr (mol/m3/s) [productivity], ET (kWh/tonne), Ccap ($/tonne) [capture cost]. Please see the published manuscript for full details of the problem definitions and solution approaches.
